# NAC3 coverage report -- 2026-05-10 / 11 night

> **v2.3.0-alpha.1 preview now available (2026-05-12)** -- adds `NAC.invoke` and `NAC.utter` for payload-bearing actions. The v2.2 contracts described in this document still hold; v2.3 is additive. See SPEC.md sec 5.1.4 and CHANGELOG for details.

Generated at the close of the coverage night on branch
`feat/nac-interop-mcp`. This is the honest, case-by-case
account of what was tested + at what depth.

Replaces the earlier informal claims of "50/50 PASS" /
"5/5 layers GREEN". Those numbers were structurally accurate
but the depth was uneven; this report restates the picture by
pipeline stage.

budget; tests run only on Pablo's laptop + on demand).

### Stage 1 -- Comunicacion (STT + raw input)

**Stage 1 coverage: ~85%** -- text + corpus + STT-mock paths fully
covered. Only the real-browser audio playback remains, which
requires Playwright.

**Stage 2 coverage: ~95%.** The matcher tightening (require
cand.length >= 3 for partial matches) shipped as a side fix
in the same suite, closing the 1-char filler-label false-positive.

### Stage 3 -- Intencion

Live calls against the production endpoint
`https://yujin.app/crm/api/v1/yujin/nac-demo`. The Yujin chat
backend (Claude Sonnet) is the LLM intermediary.

**Stage 3 coverage: ~85%** of the contract shape. Not 100%
because the LLM's specific action contents are
non-deterministic; we assert only on shape + the anti-bug
case.

**Stage 6 coverage: ~95%.** Missing: the long-tail event
families (`nac:breadcrumb:navigated`, `nac:accordion:expanded`,

`nac:table:filter_changed`, `nac:confirm:resolved`). Pattern is
the same; covering them would be mechanical.

## What changed in the runtime as a result

Tests caught two real issues that got fixed in the same branch:

1. **`tab_by_label` matcher too lax for 1-char labels.** Fixed
   in `js/nac.js` line 2264 by requiring `cand.length >= 3` for
   bidirectional partial match. Exact equality always allowed.
   Caught by Stage 2 test B4 (unknown label leaked through).

2. **`NAC.list_registered_plugins()` introspection helper
   missing.** Added in `js/nac.js` for the interop layer's
   `export_tree` to iterate registered manifests regardless of
   DOM mount state. Caught while writing the v23 interop suite.

Both are valuable -- the tests pulled real bugs out of the
runtime, which is the whole point.
